Designated HES providers, by OPWDD region

OPWDD divides New York into five regions, listed by number. Each region has one or more designated HES providers — the agencies authorized to deliver Home-Enabling Supports.

Designation is region-specific. A person in Region 3 chooses from the providers designated in Region 3. The authoritative list is OPWDD's HES provider directory (opens in new tab).

OPWDD identifies regions by number only. The area descriptions below (like "Western NY & Finger Lakes") are approximate. If you're not sure which region serves you, ask your Care Manager or check the official directory.
