How to tell how current something is
Every page carries a Last verified date at the bottom. That date is the honest signal of currency: it's the last time we re-checked that page against its sources — OPWDD's guidance, the provider directory, and vendor materials. We don't promise a fixed re-check schedule; we update pages as sources change and as we learn of those changes. When something material shifts — a new designated provider, a new sub-service, a budget change — we publish a dated correction at the bottom of the page.
If a date looks old for a detail that matters to a decision, treat it as a prompt to confirm that detail directly with OPWDD, the provider, or the vendor.
Vendor inclusion
HES providers contract with a diverse set of approved technology vendors, each supplying one or more pieces of technology or services to the program. The vendor directory lists the vendors we can document working in HES. Listing is not paid, and profiles are compiled from public information, provider and vendor input, and direct product review. If your company works in HES and isn't listed, see the contact page.
Corrections
We correct errors on the page where they appeared and note the correction at the bottom. If you spot one, email us.
